My one piece of advice which I like to tell patients is that obviously this is a big day for them and everyone must be treated as an individual.

They should try to have some confidence and some reassurance that we do this day in day out and actually while this is a really unique event for them, we're very used to this.

They should relax into the process, highlight any concerns they may have with their surgeon but be reassured by the fact that we're doing this over and over again almost every day.
