Remove Negative Thoughts

This stretch is about removing negative thoughts about your surgery.

So we'll find ourselves on hands and knees. Making your way, hands under your shoulders, knees under your hips, spreading the knuckles down into the floor, arms nice and long. And then as we breathe in through the nose, we're going to stretch the front of the body starting to open the chest, lift the chin and look in front. As you exhale through the mouth, we round the back. So start to tuck your pelvis under, start to round through your back, tucking your shin, nice big stretch for the back of the body. So as you inhale, visualising positive energy, filling up the body. And as you exhale to round the spine, just visualising that negative energy leaving the body. Inhale, open the chest, shine the breastbone forward, lifting the chin, positive energy flooding into the body. Exhaling to tuck the pelvis, round your spine, negative energy. Inhale, open the chest, shine the breastbone, shining the heart forward, lifting the chin, that positive energy flooding in. Exhaling, tucking the pelvis, rounding the spine, nice big stretch for the back. Negative energy releasing. And then making your way back into the centre, nice long spine. And then coming out, just find yourself back into a comfortable seat or coming back to static.

You can use this stretch whenever you find those negative thoughts about your surgery creeping in.
